Rafia Rebeck, MEd, MA, LPC

A warm hello.  I want to welcome you to Joyful Balance Counseling.  My approach to therapy is gentle, perceptive, and honest.  Utilizing the basic principles of contemporary neuroscience and traditional mindfulness, I strive to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is ripe for transformation, health, and joy. Clients report that they appreciate my warmth, authenticity, and the sense of safety that I create.   I enjoy supporting my clients in exploring core beliefs that have been limiting their freedom.

As a practitioner, I value all avenues of experience ~ thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, memories, images, and dreams ~ as valid pathways into the inner world.  All of you is welcome here.

I deeply value the role of the therapeutic relationship in unlocking the mysteries of our deepest experiences and in supporting profound transformation. As someone who holds space for others in this way, I am committed to my own ongoing development and engaged self-awareness. I engage in ongoing practices that help me develop and refine my capacity for mindfulness, which in turn invites positive change in my clients.

I sincerely look forward to meeting you.  Please feel welcome to contact me with any questions you might have.
